Christmas Charity
On Christmas Eve, G^Force Set up tables in downtown Calgary and served hundreds of people free coffee, while we sang carols. It was so fun...and rewarding! Here are a few pictures...

Christmas Gala
Just about a week ago EXODUS and G^FORCE came together for a Christmas Gala which turned out to be a success! All who were there can witness the laughter, fun and fellowship that took place. Oh but this isn't the last time! We are already planning for the next Christmas Gala. Plan to be there because you won't want to miss it!
Our way of doing a walk off
Isaac and Mark
Of course it's the ballon popping game again and the girls win it!
Tanya, Me and Adahlia
This is Adahlia singing "Jingle Bells" with a country twang
*Uhh Adahlia we asked you to sing"Jingle Bells" not "Silver Bells"*

EXODUS Masquerade Party
It was a crazy night filled with fun n' games, fellowship and pizza. Everybody had to decorate a mask and try to sell it to the judges in order to win. We had really wacked out ones with lights and money hanging from it! Also during one of our many games, the slurpee drinking contest, many ended up with brain freeze! We just had to have that contest since our beloved youth leader is absolutely obsessed with slurpee. Some ended up going home with stomach aches from laughing too hard!.Overall it was a great witnessing tool for the unsaved young people that were there. We showed them that no doubt you can have fun in God!!!
Bro. Greg trying to sell his mask and as you can see from one of our visitors in the background it wasn't working! LOL

Be strong and very courageous!
As I was in prayer yesterday, I was complaining to God about some less than positive circumstances. In response, He didn't give me step by step instructions on how to fix everything, like I wanted Him to. Instead, He gave me the same simple formula that He gave Joshua before he crossed the Jordan river. "Be strong and very courageous."
How can God expect me to be strong when He knows I'm so weak? The truth is, only when I am weak, can I be strong. For His strength is made perfect in my weakness. (Read IICor.12) When I simply resign myself and my circumstance into the hands of our Benevolent Almighty God, then His joy is my strength. (Neh.8.10)
And how can I be "very courageous" in the face of an seemingly impossible adversity? By taking my focus off of the adversity and focusing on God. If God is for me, who can be against me? (Read Rom.8.28-31) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! And so can you...Only be strong and very courageous!

We Want District Representation
The question has been posed whether this is a district blog or a Truth Church blog. It is a district youth blog. However, as G^FORCE (the youth of TC) is part of the district, it has been represented on the blog. We would like every youth group in our district to be represented. All I need is the e-mail address of a legitimate representative from each youth group in order to make them contributors.

Missions Trip?
I noticed some comments below from people wanting to do another trip to Hawaii. Maybe we could pull off a cool mission's trip later next year? If we did Hawaii again, we'd hit Maui this time! But I think Aydin wants to guide us through Turkey...who know's. What do you think?

OPERATION: EVANGELISM NOW
At The Low Down this week, G^FORCE kicked off Operation: Evangelism Now! God has commisioned us to evangelize our generation, and we are doing just that! Our first mission is to bring every young person that we know (in the broadest sense of the word) to Friday Night Floodlight. The newly formed E-TEAM is leading us in this operation as the Spirit leads them. This is OUR season! It's GOD's time! ...AT THY WORD...(Luke 5:4-6)
The prep work for YC 05
We have been praying and fasting for God to do His thing at Youth Conf 05...but not without us doing our part. Props...Backgounds...Art...Music...are already in the works for Youth Conf! And you thought last year was good??? ;P
Take a look at these hard working people :-)

What Up CPD Youth!
I’m checking in to commend the creators on a blog well done and to encourage non-users to join “the fray”. This is an excellent environment in which to build camaraderie with your fellows Canadianplainsians, build up your Youth Leaders, ask questions and brag on Jesus! Take Advantage!
Cheers.
Cheers.

Friday Night Floodlight
That's what I'm talking about baby! FNFL is gonna take us to a realm we've never been in before! We are all working on bringing as many contacts as possible to this service, and I know that God is preparing for a Holy Ghost flash-flood! By the way...the dress code for that night is casual. We are already working on the music and props and all. After the service we will continue the night with lots of fun and food...the cost for that part of the night will be $15 per person. And believe me, it will be well worth it! Don't miss!

Passion Play
It's impossible to do the story of Christ's Passion justice. However the Passion Play in Drumheller was well put together and enjoyable. What was really fun though, was the day after! Five of us spent the night there and went mountain biking on the Saturday. The weather was perfect. The landscape is awesome. And let's not even start about the relationship between you, your bike, and a single track winding through the badlands. Let's just say...it's sweet.
Summer Time
Shout out to the CPD Youth. Since schools out and summer's in, we just wanted to know what exciting things and events everyone is getting up to this summer. Besides coming to youth conference of course!

The NEXT BIG THING
You will not be disappointed in the ministry of our good friend Sam Emory at Youth Conf '05!
Q: WHAT IS FRIDAY NIGHT "FLOODLIGHT"? A: On the last night of YC there will be a mega evangelistic thrust. Our goal is to have more unsaved youth in service than saved youth. We are anxious to see how many young people God will fill with His Spirit! So, here's your part of the deal...Bring every young person you know...And more. Don't just ask then to come but be a sales-person...Compel them to come! If you are coming in from out of town, bring unsaved friends on a "quick trip to Calgary." Anyways...It's gonna be AWESOME!!! C-ya there!
