Just A Thought

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?. . .
Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do.... It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

let it snow

Winter is at (in?) the door! There is a beautiful white blanket over Calgary, fire places are crackling, and sartorialists are pulling out their favorite hats and scarves. If you're like me, then you have a love/hate relationship with winter. But these first few snows I absolutely love... they are fresh and romantic, filled with nostalgia of Canadian childhood. Here's a picture just taken...

done did it!

Calgary to Canmore SFC ride: done! Thanks to Grell, Travis, DJ, Fungai, Andrew, Kenny, and Luke for riding. Thanks to Alicia and Neil for following us. Thanks to everyone who gave to SFC (including the retired MP Debrah Grey who stopped me on the side of the road to make a donation). Here are some pics of the final stretch (click to enlarge)...

Truth Youth push the lid off of Prayer

Never before have we reached such heights in prayer! I'm stoked! Tuesday Night Youth Prayers have been increasingly intense encounters with God... nobody wants to leave... we just chill in the presence of God for-like-ever (that's my favorite part of prayer)!
A couple of weeks ago we really broke through during a spontaneous prayer meeting after Monday Night Bible College... every restraint was broke, and every young prayer warrior was released to unprecedented communion with God and complete victory. I know it sounds like rhetoric... but you just would on had to have been there!
YOUNG PEOPLE DON'T STOP... THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!
P.S. Those of you that were there that monday night... remember our "Trailblazers" talk!

It looks like we are gonna make it by 2pm...

...next Saturday (some people thought we were talking about yesterday... silly people).
We would have made it yesterday if we didn't have to return our rental bikes...we were only 25k out of Canmore! Ya, it did take us 7 hours to bike 60k...but that's cuz we past a Humpty's when we were hungry. So, we'll be finishing off the last 25k next week.
P.S. If you don't see me sitting down in church today, this might have something to do with it. LOL

I'm at my grandparents place in Texas right now, and it just got cool enough to go out, so I thought I'd go for a little run...by the time I got down the block my kidneys were screamin at me... I was like SHEESH! lol Pray and fast for me if you don't mind. lol
