Me: One of the items that we will be picking up from Crown Army Surplus is a 100 foot parachute.
You: What in the world are you gonna do with a 100 foot parachute?
Me: I'm not quite sure.

Spirit Rains in Barbados
Our final service on Sunday night started out with a great worship service that went crazy (in a good way) like none of us ever expected when the power went out for almost ten minutes. When the power came back on we continued with the worship service as the Spirit of God moved amongst the people. After the message God opened up the flood-gates and several people received the gift of the Holy Ghost, the most in one service for Barbados for several years.
We were blessed to be able to come and partake in the work of God and meet and make new friends. We've had a small taste of what we know God is going to do in Calgary and we are not only ready to receive it, but desperate and well equiped to achieve it. So look out Calgary and CPD we're coming back home to rock the free world!!!

Update
wanted to give y'all a quick update.
We had awesome Sunday morning Church, we split up into two groups for the two churches they have on the island. Right now we're having a music practice for the evening service - both Churches are coming together for the service. The people here are all excited and have been having prayer and also believing for God to do a GREAT work.
We have one of the town squares/ their style of the olympic plaza/ from Monday through to Thursday evenings, were we will be having outdoor service. We're all excited about what God is about to do. Remember to keep Barbados in your prayers

Just A Thought
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?. . .
Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do.... It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

let it snow
Winter is at (in?) the door! There is a beautiful white blanket over Calgary, fire places are crackling, and sartorialists are pulling out their favorite hats and scarves. If you're like me, then you have a love/hate relationship with winter. But these first few snows I absolutely love... they are fresh and romantic, filled with nostalgia of Canadian childhood. Here's a picture just taken...

done did it!
Calgary to Canmore SFC ride: done! Thanks to Grell, Travis, DJ, Fungai, Andrew, Kenny, and Luke for riding. Thanks to Alicia and Neil for following us. Thanks to everyone who gave to SFC (including the retired MP Debrah Grey who stopped me on the side of the road to make a donation). Here are some pics of the final stretch (click to enlarge)...

Truth Youth push the lid off of Prayer
Never before have we reached such heights in prayer! I'm stoked! Tuesday Night Youth Prayers have been increasingly intense encounters with God... nobody wants to leave... we just chill in the presence of God for-like-ever (that's my favorite part of prayer)!
A couple of weeks ago we really broke through during a spontaneous prayer meeting after Monday Night Bible College... every restraint was broke, and every young prayer warrior was released to unprecedented communion with God and complete victory. I know it sounds like rhetoric... but you just would on had to have been there!
YOUNG PEOPLE DON'T STOP... THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!
P.S. Those of you that were there that monday night... remember our "Trailblazers" talk!

It looks like we are gonna make it by 2pm...
...next Saturday (some people thought we were talking about yesterday... silly people).
We would have made it yesterday if we didn't have to return our rental bikes...we were only 25k out of Canmore! Ya, it did take us 7 hours to bike 60k...but that's cuz we past a Humpty's when we were hungry. So, we'll be finishing off the last 25k next week.
P.S. If you don't see me sitting down in church today, this might have something to do with it. LOL

It's in YOU!!!
Ever heard the saying
-Dynamite comes in small packages-
Just wanted to remind you that within you, is the most powerful force this universe can ever know, its greater than our minds could ever conceive.
So go ahead, no need to be humble, we both know you can't hide nor conceal it.
Seriously, go ahead, let your light shine, be that inland lighthouse and lead someone to the path of salvation.
Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
